An edition of 100 cassettes available only to exchange, not to buy.
The tapes will be exhibited in the show Museum of Peripheral Collections in Bon Acuiel, Rennes, France, from 29th September to 28th October 2017. Any tape received as a swap will replace the copy from the edition. Tapes need to be with me by 23rd September – please email me for my address to send your tape to.
The album features nine tracks recorded in a bedroom in Montreal, Canada in August 2017, using minimal equipment: two synths, two effect pedals and a handheld digital recorder. All the mixing and was done with just the digital recorder.
The cover shows six found post-it notes, which gave the tracks their titles. A larger collection of found post-it notes will feature in the exhibition.
